Duckhead Software is committed to respecting the privacy rights of users of our software and website. We are publishing this privacy policy to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and to the protection of privacy. This Privacy Policy is applicable to the service and website of Duckhead Software, and not to any services we link to; specifically Twitter, which may have data collection, storage and use practices and policies that differ materially from this Privacy Policy. By using our software and website you represent and warrant that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this privacy policy.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We do not solicit or knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. If we obtain knowledge that we have personally identifiable information from a child under the age of 13, we will immediately delete such information from its source. We have designed this Privacy Policy in order to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”).

INFORMATION COLLECTION PRACTICES

Traffic (a.k.a. “Usage”) Data.

Like most application vendors, we use anonymous telemetry data to monitor application exceptions, crashes and usage data in line with Windows 10 practices to enhance the development of our products. Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you and is part of the Windows 10 subsystem.

Ad Serving.

Some of our software uses third parties for advertising. These third parties may place Cookies on Your computer or mobile device, use web beacons, and gather IP addresses and log data to collect traffic and activity data in order to deliver relevant metrics, content, and advertising.

INFORMATION USE AND DISCLOSURE PRACTICES

We do not gather or hold any personal information; if we did, we would only disclose it to government departments on request by official order.
